Built by people who stayed for the build

OneCluster exists because too much good advice arrives as a deck and leaves before the hard part.

Our story

We started OneCluster after watching the same pattern repeat across banks, operators and health systems: a strategy lands, a programme is announced, and eighteen months later the teams are still waiting for the thing to become real. The diagnosis was rarely wrong. The delivery model was.

So we built the firm we wanted to hire. Senior people who embed inside your organisation rather than reporting at it. One fixed rate per crew. A capability transfer plan written before the first sprint, not improvised at the end.

How we are set up

Lagos is our base and our engineering centre. Our people work remotely across Africa, and engagements are staffed to the client's timezone rather than ours. Partners stay on the work — every engagement has one accountable, and they are reachable.

We stay deliberately small. A crew is senior by construction: we do not carry a bench of juniors that needs billing out, which is why we can say no to work that does not fit.

What we will not do

We do not take staff-augmentation contracts where we have no say in how the work runs. We do not write strategy we are not prepared to help build. And we do not stay past the point where your own people can run the model — that is the whole product.

Principles

What we hold to

01

Ship, then talk

Working software in your production environment is the only evidence we accept from ourselves.

02

Teach by doing

Coaching happens on the real backlog. Nobody learns delivery from a workshop.

03

Leave properly

A deliberate handover with documented architecture, not a quiet ramp-down.
