PDF only, 1MB maximum. Optional, though most people attach one. We check the file itself rather than its name, and refuse it if it:

is not really a PDF, whatever it is called, or is empty
is larger than 1MB
is incomplete, which usually means the export or the upload was cut short
carries active content: scripts, actions that run when the file is opened, embedded or attached files, rich media, or XFA form data

Ordinary CVs pass. If yours is refused for active content, print it to PDF or export it again as a plain PDF and it will go through. A refused file stops the whole submission, so nothing is saved until you send one we accept.
