Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, and let the operator understand how the site is used. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixels work the same way and are covered by this policy.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function: maintaining your session, remembering your cookie choices, and protecting forms against abuse. These cannot be switched off through our banner because the site will not work without them. Retention: session to twelve months.
Analytics
Used to understand which pages are visited and how people move through the site, so we can improve it. Data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify individuals. These are set only with your consent. Retention: up to twenty-four months.
Functional
Remember preferences such as a dismissed notice, so you are not shown the same thing repeatedly. Set only with your consent. Retention: up to twelve months.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.
Your choices
When you first visit we ask for consent to non-essential cookies. You can change your decision at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser and reloading the page, or by using your browser's cookie controls.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of this site working, including form submission.
Third parties
Fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts, which may log your IP address as part of delivering the font files. See Google's own privacy documentation for how they handle that data. We set no third-party advertising cookies.
Some of the technology logos on our home page are served by jsDelivr, an open-source content delivery network, which may likewise log your IP address as part of delivering those files. If jsDelivr is unavailable to you the same logos are served from this site instead, so nothing on the page depends on reaching them.

Measurement without cookies
We do want to know which pages and which channels bring enquiries. We do that without cookies and without any third-party analytics service. Our own server records that a page was requested, along with the referring site, any campaign parameters in the link, your country, and a coarse device and browser type.
No IP address is stored. To count visitors rather than requests, we derive a value from the request that changes every day and cannot be reversed to identify you or used to recognise you tomorrow. Nothing is written to your device, which is why this does not require your consent and is not affected by the choice you make above.
We also record clicks on a small number of things that show intent, such as starting an application or revealing an email address. The same rules apply: first-party, no cookies, no identification.
